Today we’d like to introduce you to Jack Frazier.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started working with a camera because I couldn’t pay my bills. At the start of my freelance journey, capturing other people’s special moments was a way for me to support myself and keep my dignity. Now I want to use cameras to support OTHERS and give THEM dignity. Making people feel seen and helping them believe that their story is important feels very purposeful for me.
I started second shooting weddings with other vendors in 2022 and since then, created my own Wedding Video business, website and started booking my own couples directly.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like any other business, the road has not been smooth! It took years to get to the level of quality that I wanted to provide in my films. I invested every profit and thousands of dollars of personal income into upgrading equipment and back-end services. I had no business or entrepreneurship background before my wedding business. Creative endeavors come easy to me, but contracts and administrative work do not! Now that I’m at a happy quality standard and price point, my biggest focus is on advertising and outreach. Learning how to do every step of the process yourself from scratch is difficult but very rewarding!

Forever Weddings provides timeless, cinematic wedding films. Our couple’s wedding days are always captured with excellence.
What sets me apart is my experience and ease of booking. When I’m not shooting weddings, I’m working on other projects for national and worldwide clients which have included FIFA, VFW and more this year. This exposure and collaboration carries over into my wedding business. When it comes to booking us for your wedding day, we handle all of the details and contact other vendors so that our couples don’t have to think or stress about anything!
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
For most videographers, weddings aren’t their favorite event to shoot, but I genuinely look forward to and get excited to capture every single wedding day! I love celebrating and supporting other people. Being able to do that on the most special day of people’s lives is even better.
