Hi Chad, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
22 years ago, my son was born and I bought a camera… following him around and taking photos was my original inspiration. By the time he was about 10 years old, I had enough equipment and experience to turn my hobby into a full time profession.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Photography is a very competitive industry and unless you absolutely love it, I recommend other career paths. I had many obstacles along the way… under charging, discounts for family/friends, navigating website design, marketing, sales, staffing etc.

I love kansas city! The bbq and food scene is top notch. The city supports their sports teams and is the epicenter for soccer in the USA!
The only thing that I’d change is the border between Missouri and Kansas being so near to Kansas City. It makes it confusing for those of us who just moved here to navigate around the city.
