Check Out Azia Gambrell’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Azia Gambrell.

Hi Azia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Since childhood, I have been deeply passionate about both community and creativity. I began dancing in the third grade, and throughout my upbringing I was actively involved in community service organizations. Those experiences shaped my understanding of the value of relationships, community building, and professionalism. As a full-time creator and performance artist, I continue to carry these lessons with me, knowing that they are essential not only to my work, but also to the way I engage with others and contribute to the world around me.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Looking back, I can clearly see that the journey has not always been smooth—there have been obstacles and challenges along the way. Yet I firmly believe that what God has for me is truly meant for me. Every experience, whether difficult or joyful, has been an opportunity to grow stronger and gain wisdom that I can carry forward into future chapters of my life.

In the past, I sometimes struggled with wanting to feel accepted in certain circles. Over time, I realized that true success does not come from external validation, but from remaining grounded in my own purpose and values. My path looks different from many others, and that’s by design. While some may operate from a place of wanting to fit in or please others, I’ve come to embrace the truth that God has not called me to that route.

Instead, my focus is on holding fast to my values, having confidence in my abilities, and maintaining unwavering faith in God’s plan. Time and again, this faith has placed me exactly where I am meant to be, at the right time. As an entrepreneur, this has been one of the greatest lessons I’ve had to learn—whether in creative endeavors or real estate work.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a professional choreographer, dancer, and dance instructor with over a decade of experience sharing the art of movement. My specialty lies in performance artistry and dance instruction, where I excel in bringing stories to life through dance. Over the years, I have performed across a wide range of platforms—including live music shows, films, musicals, plays, and dance productions.Trained in multiple dance genres such as ballet, tap, jazz, heels, modern, hip-hop, and improvisation, I also hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. For more than 10 years, I have taught students of all ages, from children to adults, and I continue to find joy in guiding others on their dance journey. One of my proudest accomplishments was serving as principal dancer on Hagerman’s Magical Mystery Tour in 2023. I am also honored be a Dance Fit Flow Instructor, where I share my love of movement and creativity with adults each week.

What sets me apart as a creative professional is the unique intersection of my passions: in addition to my work as a dance artist, I am also a licensed realtor in Kansas and Missouri. With over five years of experience in the real estate industry, I bring professionalism, dedication, and community-building into every aspect of my career. I also have a deep passion for educating the community on how to build and maintain wealth. Whether through dance or real estate, my mission is the same—to inspire, uplift, and connect with people in meaningful ways.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
