Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up in a big family, gathering with my loved ones is something I’ve always known. We would all get together, eat, and create some of the best memories. Whether it be a holiday, birthday, or just a Tuesday night. As i’ve gotten older, my love for bringing people together has only blossomed. Making any excuse to have the girls over so I can host! Being an event coordinator just made sense for me. With the support from the village i’ve been celebrating with my whole life and 10+ years in customer service, KiantEvents was created. I have worked very hard to be where I am today. I am blessed to have had a successful two years in this business and i’m hopeful for many more to come. My dream is to open an event space one day.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Many years in the customer service industry, I’ve been lucky enough to have met some amazing people. The same amazing people who have booked with me and shared my social media content and continue to support me to this day. I definitely have slower months but i’m very content with it. I’m happy to be getting booked at all!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an event coordinator! I specialize in budget friendly coordination. I offer coordinating, balloon art, and handcrafted charcuterie! I’m most proud of winning 2nd place Event Planner for Best of Lawrence 2024 my first year of operation! Huge accomplishment for me and was only reassuring that I’m on the right path in my life. What sets me apart from others is the love I have for this. I only want to help people create the best memories with their loved ones. Like the ones I have with mine.
