Kalyn, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are used to set my day up for success. Starting the day with a clean space and my selfcare finished helps me stay in my routine.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Kalyn! I started my marketing agency in 2021, which focuses on social media management and content creation. I slowly started to evolve my services into offering marketing consulting because of the demand in questions I was getting in my day-to-day.
I would say my brand is unique because of the relationships I focus on building with each client. I like to know every business partnership on a personal level. This helps me understand your goals as a business overall.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
Every person in my circle has taught me something valuable about work. I truly believe the people you surround yourself with can shape your mindset and your habits. it’s their energy and example that keep me motivated and it also builds a strong community.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that has held me back most in life is stepping outside of my comfort zone. Over time, I’ve worked to overcome this challenge, and doing so has opened the door to many new opportunities for personal and professional growth.

The version of me that people see is the real me. I try to show up as the person I want to become, and that helps me stay focused on my goals and keep the right mindset.

I hope the story people tell about me someday is about the business I built from the ground up. My dream is for it to grow into something big and stay in my family for generations.
