Hi, I’m Jessie! I’ve been in healthcare since I was 16, and becoming a registered nurse was a natural step for me. I started my career in intensive care during the height of COVID, and it opened my eyes in a big way. I saw how often we rely on medications as long-term bandaids instead of addressing root causes. That realization lit a fire in me—I wanted to create something that went beyond quick fixes.
That’s how Drip & Fit Wellness was born: a mobile IV therapy company that not only delivers high-quality care right to people’s doors but also empowers clients with education and options to take control of their health. My mission is simple: keep people feeling their best, prevent unnecessary hospital visits, and help them make confident, lasting choices for their wellness.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like any new business, the journey hasn’t been a straight line—it’s full of ebbs and flows. Since opening earlier this year, I’ve been able to reach so many amazing new clients, but I’ve also run into challenges along the way. One big hurdle has been shifting the mindset around the cost of IV therapy. At first glance, some people struggle to justify the price. My goal is to reframe that perspective—because when you invest in your health, you’re saving in the long run. Think about it: we spend freely on coffees, fast food, or beauty services that don’t necessarily support our bodies long-term. IV therapy, on the other hand, helps prevent illness, boosts performance in the gym, eases migraines or cramps, and so much more.
Another challenge is standing out as a small business in a growing market. Kansas City is seeing more IV therapy companies pop up, including large franchises with big budgets and big teams. But what sets Drip & Fit Wellness apart is personal connection and loyalty. My clients know I’m here for them—whether that means hopping on a late-night call, squeezing in a last-minute appointment, or driving long distances to make sure they’re taken care of. I can assure you that you will get quality care and that I am continuing to learn more about ingredients and IV therapy in general every day to provide the most up to date and beneficial care I can to each and every client. Alongside my faith, my strongest qualities are hard work and perseverance. I juggle a full-time nursing career while building my business, and I use every experience in the hospital setting as fuel—learning, growing, and staying focused on my mission.
