Hello, I’m Pascal Kinsey, a dedicated marketing professional, photographer, and coffee enthusiast. Known for my creative eye as a photographer, I wanted to expand that artistry beyond the realm of photography. After completing the Integrated Marketing Communications graduate program at the University of Kansas, I set out to merge my creativity with my passion for coffee, leading to the creation of stART Coffee Co. This venture is my personal mission to inspire, blending the craft of a perfectly brewed cup with the spark of imagination. Through stART, I share not just exceptional coffee, but an invitation to embrace creativity in every moment.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So far, the journey hasn’t been entirely smooth, but each challenge has helped shape the brand. From sourcing beans that aligned with both our quality standards and brand philosophy. It wasn’t just about finding excellent coffee; it was about selecting beans that could deliver a refined, consistent flavor experience, so that meant taking time and prioritizing sustainability, ethical practices, and craftsmanship at every step of the process. While also building a lifestyle identity around coffee and creativity, every step required intentionality. Balancing marketing, distribution, and design while staying true to our mission hasn’t been easy, but it serves as a reminder of what stART Coffee Co. stands for.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was a little bit of a shy kid, but I have always known a lot of people. In high school, I took courses like creative writing, journalism, and photography. However, I fell in love with business after taking Mrs. Fowler’s marketing class. It was then that I realized that I wanted to own my own business. I have always been a clever, creative thinker who sometimes sees opportunities or connections that others might overlook. That blend of creativity, connecting, and strategy has guided me ever since. Whether in marketing, photography, or now building stART Coffee Co., it continues to drive how I approach both business and life.
