Let’s jump in with a fun one: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Painting with some good music playing is when I truly lose myself in the best way. Hours can pass without me even noticing. It’s my favorite way to tune out the noise and feel totally grounded again.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Shawnneice, the creator behind Goddess Artistry Collections. My brand is all about blending self-care with creativity ,from organic haircare and handmade body butters to my artwork that reflects healing, identity, and empowerment. What makes my work unique is that everything I create is intentional; whether it’s a painting, a custom piece, or a product, it’s designed to tell a story and connect with people on a deeper level. Right now, I’m focused on expanding the art side of my brand, bringing more of my pieces to life, and creating collections that inspire others to embrace their own beauty and power.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
I feel like bonds get broken when there’s a lack of honesty, communication, or respect. Once trust is shaken, it’s hard to feel safe in that connection. But what restores it is accountability, understanding, and genuine effort, when both people are willing to listen, be real about their part, and move with compassion, that’s when healing can actually happen.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
You are so special just the way you are. Don’t ever doubt your light, because it’s going to guide you into beautiful things.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
I believe aliens are real. I mean, the universe is endless and honestly, humans can’t be the best it has to offer. I can’t prove it, but I’m pretty sure they’re out there watching us like a reality TV show, shaking their heads at our choices.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m out in nature. Just being surrounded by the trees, fresh air, and quiet . it grounds me and makes everything else feel lighter. It’s like a reset for my spirit.
