Michael Whitebear II on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Michael Whitebear II and have shared our conversation below.

Michael , it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Skating. Skating just gives me another reason to be around music, and has became something very prevalent in my life right now!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My Name is Michael Whitebear II, I am the Chief Executive of EchoHertz Publishing, L.G.X.C. Productions, subsidies of Love Grow X Create LLC. I run a independent artist-driven ecosystem that fuses music, visuals, and clothing into immersive experiences. As both CEO and artist, Im building a platform that empowers creatives to own their works, defy limits, and connect with audiences worldwide.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
Im surrounded by individuals who work hard for what they want. Specifically my mother plays a key role in inspiring me to work hard for everything I want. Through her I’ve seen the highs and lows of entrepreneurship and somehow, just making a way out of no way.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Honestly, yes, I think about giving up alot. This is not the easiest road to travel, sometimes you don’t know where your going, or if it’s even worth the trip. I dont think theres a problem in wanting to give up, yet the differentiating factor is who actually gives up and who doesn’t. Who let the “thought” of giving up become the reality? Who decided it was just one of the millions of thoughts that run through our head? Easier said than done in most cases, yet in those times of wanting to give up, or give in, I still take a moment to ask for the strength or the sign to keep going! Sometimes you have to use borrowed strength to fully lift something. You are not alone!

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
The only important project in this life I have the pleasure of getting to work on, and I’ve committed to working on, is myself. No matter how long that takes, in doing so, I get gems like my music and businesses in return!

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What will you regret not doing?
Id regret not going for everything I have ever wanted in this life. I don’t want to look back in reflection when i’m old and withering just to say, I had every opportunity, I even had the ability to create my own opportunities, and I let it all got to waste due to fear, or the unknown.
