An Inspired Chat with Brady Creative of Hutchinson Kansas

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Brady Creative. Check out our conversation below.

Brady, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I work hard to balance my art business, tattooing, painting and my responsibilities as a father and husband. I grew up working hard on our family ranch and surrounding farms. We did very little traveling, but my wife and I have worked hard to build a life where we can share travel and fun experiences with our children.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Brady, Brady Creative on social media. I’m a painter, street artist and full time licensed tattooer. I’ve worked hard to build a body of work that speaks for itself. I’m a visual artist, not a writer so I encourage you to check my work out at www.bscottart.com and my various social media links.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I’ve been making art since before Incan remember. Along the way I’ve been very fortunate to come across people that saw some talent and potential. Many people have showed me techniques and believed in my art. You know who you are. Many thanks and much love !

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I’ve never given up on making art. It has always been my therapy and obsession. However, I have worked all kinds of odd jobs, day labor and struggled financially for years. Through it all I have been very lucky to have a great support system from my wife and friends.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
I pride myself in being down to earth, kind and hardworking. I definitely turn on my salesmen persona sometimes, but for the most part I am who I am.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What are you doing today that won’t pay off for 7–10 years?
I have always followed my passion and take on projects to at make me feel excited and creatively fulfilled. I feel blessed and very lucky to trust in the process and hope for the best.
