Today we’d like to introduce you to Kahleigh Lucas.

Hi Kahleigh, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started this journey at the Directors Cut barbershop. My barber Armon Lasker asked if i wanted to be apart of his comedy show at the gym theater, I’ve never done comedy before but without hesitation i said “Sure” he was hesitant because i said yes without asking any further details. Come to find out my very first comedy show was hosting a show in front of 250 people 😮‍💨😮‍💨. I started doing shows all around the city and the. Covid happened and shut down everything. I was introduced to TikTok during that time and i made one video that went viral which led to me having over 2million followers, over 180k followers on Instagram and a host of viral videos from Let’s Roll Friends to God Skits and my Joint Skits with Armon and Janette. I’m currently in the process of writing short films and putting together a 10 city comedy tour

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No road worth traveling is ever smooth.. I’ve created multiple pages that were shut down or removed some even hacked. I was forced to start over multiple times after MILLIONS of followers. Building a brand back up from nothing is always difficult but i would never be able to do it if it wasn’t for fans following me to whatever platform i decided to use at the time and for them I’m forever grateful

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I may have put all this information in with my other answers lol. I specialize in comedy specifically improve and stand up comedy

I’m really most proud of the fact I’ve built a business on my own I’ve never received a handout from anyone. Kahleighcomedy was built off my imagination and persistence but it wouldn’t have been possible without the ones behind the scenes and on camera with me

What sets me apart from others is I’m not scared of the outcome of my jokes.. I’m not scared to be my authentic self.. and i would never sell out just to get a check

How do you define success?
I define success by lives touched. When i first became known i thought money dictated your success and that’s far from the truth, when i receive messages like ” your comedy got me through some of my darkest days ”

” me and my mom watch your videos while she goes through chemo”

But what’s better than all of that is my kids think I’m some famous star because they can watch me on YouTube
