Today we’d like to introduce you to Koreyon Robinson .
Hi Koreyon , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Kansas City, Missouri. I’ve been here my entire life. I’ve only moved for Football briefly..
I’ve always had entrepreneur Spirit and I’ve always been into athletics
Even when I had my troubles as an adolescent, a lot of it was boredom and the curriculum never really pushing me
I also know now that a lot of my issues I had with authority with when they make me a good boss and entrepreneur
I started training youth, athletes, and coaching youth football at about 20 years old. It was an outlet and something that could keep me close to the game of football initially.
My passion started to grow more with it, and my clientele started to grow as well. I started reaching out to professional athletes to train them for free and then build relationships with them and the rest was history with that.
Outside of Sports, I study different markets and what was the best market outside of real estate for entrepreneurship and transportation industry was one of the big ones so I started my own courier service and built that from the ground up and it’s still going to this day.
I’ve taken on many other business ventures since then somehow have failed but a lot have been successful.
My biggest one to this date is a multi million dollar facility and sports complex.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
it has not been a smooth ride at all plenty of dark days plenty of trying days plenty of blood sweat and tears behind this journey.. I’ve had people doubt me. I’ve had people try to sabotage me, and I’ve even doubted myself sometimes along the way or question my purpose along this journey. I wouldn’t say I’ve ever lost my faith because I’ve always had my faith if I had nothing else, but I will say my faith has been tested definitely. My business has tanked several times and a lot of the times not even from my own faults, but from people I’ve actually hired. Nonetheless has not been a smooth road, but I’ve always persevered.

So I have Grindtime Sports (GTS) founded back in 2021
That is the foundation, but there is an umbrella of things that come from GTS

Sports apparel
Training Facility /Complex
I’d say one of my most memorable accomplishments was being able to bring teams from all over the country to play at Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
I’ve hosted events at arrowhead Stadium, but that’s in my hometown. It hit different to be able to do it in an entire different state in an entire different NFL stadium and have Kids from all over the country come to my event.
But my biggest accomplishment is being able to partner with a great investor to be able to bring GTS Sports complex to life right here in my own community.
An indoor football field along with several other athletic fields on 20 acres.
Me and several other programs have rented fields and had to lease buildings for so long. It’s just great to be able to have something we own we own the land and we own the building. Ownership .,It’s a blessing.
Any big plans?
My plans for the future are to continue to build my legacy here in my city and to create opportunities for the next generation to succeed.
That’s really all I think about is leaving my mark on the next generation in my city and really athletes nationwide the most importantly the kids that grew up right here in the same community that I grew up in.
