Daily Inspiration: Meet Joseph Kang

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Kang.

Hi Joseph, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I initially started using Instagram as a way to capture and share memories with my friends and family. We all loved going out to eat, and I found myself taking a lot of photos and videos of our dining experiences. I realized that I was capturing some really great moments and beautiful dishes, and I wanted to share those moments with the rest of Kansas City so they can find some hidden gems as well.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My main challenge as a creator has been stepping outside my comfort zone to network and attend events. As an introvert, I used to find it difficult to put myself in situations that required a lot of exposure. However, I’ve learned that these opportunities are incredibly valuable. I’ve focused on developing my communication skills, which has led to some fantastic collaborations and partnerships. Another challenge is finding time to travel and attend events, however, I see it as a worthwhile part of the adventure. I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities, which ensures I’m consistently creating fresh and engaging content that resonates with my followers.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I manage a diverse portfolio of clients, developing their core competencies and guiding them toward measurable outcomes. I’m responsible for creating and delivering dynamic content, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing strategies to foster professional growth. My primary goal is to maximize the potential of each individual and ensure their successful advancement with their personal and academic performance.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is being around my community. I love spending time with my friends and family, and I feel like food is a fantastic way to bring everyone together. I’m also really happy when I get to meet new people. I enjoy getting to know them and collaborating, especially when it comes to helping small businesses in Kansas City get the exposure they deserve.
