Today we’d like to introduce you to SILENT AVE.

Hi SILENT AVE, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was a troubled youth and used making music as a means to vent. I aged out of the foster care system and was trying to find my way in life. I met this group called SAMURAI we all started making music together and performing at shows, a few years go by we go our separate ways and i start performing my solo career as SILENT AVE! I started my Rap career, then moved onto making rock and now country music. Ive performed in 25 states and just got booked to perform with Outlaw Nation August 23rd marking my 26th state.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
coming from the struggle and poverty there were a ton of hurdles to jump to get to where i am, from financial to just life in general, its been a long journey.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an Independent National Touring Multi Genre Artist. I make Rap, Rock and Country Music, and just about any other genre you could think of. I’ve opened for Big Name artists like Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Jelly Roll, Saving Able, Snow Tha Product, Brantley Gilbert and many others. and I’m about to go on tour with my brothas GRIZZ LEE , YXNG CHED, and The Backpack Kid in October. .

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love all of the opportunities that Kansas City has to offer. What i like least about the city is the lack of local act support on some of these major shows. We have to start putting KC artists with talent in a position to be heard and seen on a National Level.
