Conversations with Noyé

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noyé.

Hi Noyé, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
When it come to music that’s been something I have ALWAYS been interested in, my Mama would always get me journals and mine were full of songs, it’s been a natural talent of mine for as long as I can remember. My family is full of singers and entertainers, it’s something we always do when we get together. Fashion comes from my love of clothing and art, I’m a visual person I love when things look “interesting” and with all the different body shapes and ways clothes can be worn it became a safe space for me to express myself. It’s a skill I’ve mastered over the years and honestly still mastering. You NEVER stop learning and evolving. In 2021 after extremely changing my lifestyle, I decided I wanted to experience my talents differently, I decided to start trusting my instincts and lean into my natural talents and here I am as Noyé!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
You know I never envisioned the lifestyle I live right now, I had a whole different plan in mind as a child, teenager, even as a young adult, so my biggest struggle with all of this “becoming an artist” or “becoming a brand” is adjusting to extreme change. To stop being afraid of being myself or sharing my art no matter what, not overthinking to the max about every little detail and being grateful for an opportunity to pivot.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I Noyé am a singer/songwriter as well as a fashion enthusiast. When it comes to music I’ll say I specialize in songwriting, it is my main focus. I know my ability to make a story come to life in someone’s mind with the right words or vibrations. I’m truly most proud of finding that for myself. You’ll hear a lot of that in my new single “Viral” coming out August 20th, 2025!! And any project I have with WeThaWave, we have another EP coming out this year as well!

When it comes to fashion, my mindset about it is what sets me apart, it’s not just about having the right outfit on or wearing it “correctly”. It’s about it being literal art on your body, letting what you have on tell the people what kind of person you are, it’s part of what makes us interesting.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I feel like people might say I take some risk but I truthfully don’t see that way. I just be living my life, now sometimes I realize I may have been living my life of the edge a bit, but if that’s what I gotta do to get myself to a better place, I’m willing to do that. I am truthfully a natural hard worker and through that I’ve had to learn when to stop …when to relax. Ill say as an adult taking that time to relax is the biggest risk for all of us, cause when you’re working on something, it seems like you always have to be on “go”. You never know when that next break may be coming through so when you say “no I’m not gonna work right now” and you make it a habit you let go of the fear of missing out and just take care of you. And take the opportunities that come in the right timing and only risk that rest when it’s absolutely worth it, you train yourself to know when, by talking care of yourself.
