Hi Demi, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been drawn to photography, there’s just something about freezing a moment in time that feels magical to me. After my youngest son was born, that fascination turned into something more. I found myself snapping photos of everything, everywhere, capturing the little details that made life feel full. Eventually, my family (who may or may not have been slightly over all the impromptu photo shoots) suggested I start taking pictures of other people. And just like that, Demi Adena Photography was born.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey to where I am now has been anything but easy. I really struggled with finding my style and figuring out how to make my work feel like ME. There’s so much more to running a photography business than just taking pictures and learning to master my camera while also shaping my creative voice was one of the hardest parts. There were definitely moments I wanted to give up, but I didn’t. I kept going. And every challenge, every late night, every bit of doubt led me here. And honestly, I’m so grateful for that.

I specialize in capturing families, maternity, seniors, weddings, children, and even pets. It’s a style that feels true to me and, more importantly, helps my clients feel beautiful and seen.
I’ve built this business from the ground up, with a whole lot of heart and hustle.
