Check Out Hannah Ida’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Ida.

Hi Hannah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ll try to keep my story short and sweet. I started in healthcare at the age of 18. Completed nursing school and then went on to complete nurse practitioner school 6 years later in 2018. I briefly practiced as a family nurse practitioner in primary care but found that was not the field for me. When we moved to Scottsdale, AZ at the end of 2019 I started my aesthetic journey. I completed a well respected two day training program at Institute of Aesthetics as well as a months long apprenticeship seeing the day to day flow of the office/appointments and doing injectable treatments as well. I worked in aesthetics full time until moving back to the midwest. I had never wanted to own my own business but when we moved back to Kansas it seemed like the best fit to give me autonomy over my schedule and the “work life balance” every parent strives for. Today I have a great group of patients and my small practice is continuing to grow!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
If it was a smooth road then everybody would do it I think! One day you’re crushing it… multiple new patients and returning customers….the next day you’ve got an appointment at 9 AM and another at 4 PM. Thankfully as time has gone on those days are becoming more rare! I just chalk up those rough days as being perks of growing a business in a new town. I didn’t realize how lucky I was in Scottsdale to be booked out and busy but I also forgot about all the hardwork I put in years ago to get that way. So yes there are obstacles but I am learning to embrace them because I’ve been able to come pretty far!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As an injector I believe I’m most known for being honest and trustworthy. I am also the self proclaimed queen of informed consent. I do not want any patient getting a treatment that they don’t completely understand. But when a treatment is agreed upon I am conservative in my approach. If you look at my instagram I do think those results speak for themselves. I also absolutely love filler correction. Some of my best work are photos I can’t share with the world because those patients wish to remain anonymous and don’t want their corrected work on the internet for all to see.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I think this is a hard question to answer. I think a quality that I pride myself on is being consistent. I believe I treat every patient fairly and with the same amount of respect. No patient gets less time than any other and after that appointment they have access to me pretty much 24/7. I know aesthetic treatments can be scary, especially for my clients who many are first timers, so they need to be able to be reassured that everything is going to be okay or that outcomes are normal!
