Meet Morgan Gover of Glow by Morgan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Gover.

Hi Morgan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story started 19 years ago…..I had just given myself a chemical peel that left me with chemical burns. I had no idea what to do, a family friend who is a dermatologist helped me. It took many procedures to fix what that chemical peel had done but I was so fascinated by the process, I wanted to know everything they were doing and why. Our family friend suggested I should go to aesthetics school because of the excitement I showed at every appointment. That was 19 years ago and in a different country! Sadly in 2019 I lost my older sister to suicide. It change how I viewed the treatment room, instead of it being just a facial make it a safe place for people to freely speak about their mental health. I’m extremely grateful that my clients feel comfortable with to speak freely about mental health.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Oh my gosh no, there has been many bumps along the way. Trying to run a small business and have somewhat of a work/home life has been my biggest struggle. And there have been many other bumps along the way, but I learned from each bump and very grateful for them!

We’ve been impressed with Glow by morgan, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started Glow by Morgan in October of last year, after being at a med spa for 10 years. I am a certified accredited Cideso diploma with over 19 years experience in the Aesthetics world.. My passion are DMK enzyme treatments, Environ’s cool peel and VI peel! I love being an Environ stock ambassador as well as DMK revision expert, both are amazing brands to work with.I want readers to know why they should choose me versus a med spa. I’m not pushy on sales of products and I’m not going to push you into my most expensive facial just to meet a quota. And most importantly is I truly do care, you’re not just another sell to me . I don’t want to just treat the skin I want to treat the whole body . I want my facials to be an experience not just a facial. I get to make women feel confident and beautiful, there isn’t a better job out there !

What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was the those kids that never sat down and always got in trouble for talking. But even from an early age I was always fascinated by science.
