Today we’d like to introduce you to Henry Parks, Cael Harris Ty Harris, Chris Elliott.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We grew up together in Baldwin City, KS and have been friends for a long time. We always bonded over music so it made sense for us to start jamming together.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We’ve had to figure things out as we go, from learning how to record at home on a budget to finding ways to get our music in front of people who’d connect with it.

There’s also the challenge of balancing life, work, etc. while putting so much time and energy into making music. But at the end of the day, we love what we’re doing, and we always have fun with it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We’re Greygarden, a rock band from Baldwin City, KS we try to blend influences from blues, soul, punk, and classic rock into something that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Our music is raw, honest, and packed with emotion. We’re most proud of our debut EP I Don’t See it Coming that came out last month. The seven-song collection showcases our sound and was recorded with a DIY ethos. The project captures raw emotion, rich melodies, and a classic feel that we hope will resonate with listeners.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
the best advice we can give is to stay true to your sound and keep going, even if it feels like no one’s listening. It’s easy to get caught up in what other people think but the most important thing is making music that appeals to you. If you just put your work out into the world, even if it’s not perfect, that’s success in my opinion.
