Hi Miya , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Well.. I’ve always loved music. it truly has been there for me in all aspects of my life weather it’s gospel, break up music, or simply music to hang out with your friends. music has always been there. When i was met with a choice to choose college basket or music it was a hard yet simple choice to make. After. I started vocal lessons and worked on my voice and understanding it for a year. I guess it’s something like a domino effect. it sorta fell into place.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, but nothing is ever a smooth road especially to the goals and dreams we hold closest to our hearts. I would say trusting others with my vision and dream is still something i struggle with even to this day.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a singer, songwriter and I’m known for that. I think I’m most proud of the fact that i even had the courage and drive to go after my dreams and goals. not everyone can do that.

What does success mean to you?
success in my eyes is financial freedom.
