Today we’d like to introduce you to Trinity Ball
Hi Trinity, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Growing up I always had an interest in music, it was a great passion of mine and helped me through many parts of my life that were challenging. I also always had an interest in spiritual topics, and very quickly developed different spiritual practices to help keep me grounded and at peace. When I got older, I wasn’t sure the direction I wanted to take my life towards, as many different paths seemed to be laid out before me, but none felt truly aligned with what I wanted to accomplish. I had spent a few years at this point prioritizing my mental, physical, and spiritual health and working through layers of healing hoping that it would lead me towards the path I needed to follow. In meditation one day, I received clarity that the path that would bring me the most happiness and peace was stepping into my spirituality and using that in a way to help others. I didn’t want my spirituality to be one part of my life, I wanted it to be in every aspect of how I moved forward. This mediation felt profound, and was a huge turning point for me. I had decided I wasn’t going to conform to what was happening in the world around me and try to force myself to fit into one box, that instead I would follow what felt most aligned with me and how I saw the world becoming a better place. Upon having this realization, I started pondering what I wanted my next step to be. I grew up with a family in medicine, and saw the gap that was occurring between eastern and western medicine, and I wanted to contribute to closing that gap and the next day, it dawned on me. I hopped on instagram the day after my meditation, and saw a sound healing add, and suddenly I realized how I could begin to contribute towards closing that gap. The medicine I had experienced so many times in my life that helped me the most, was mindfulness through music. After this I jumped into action and dove into the deep end with researching and gaining certifications and trainings in sound healing and different energetic practices. I learned more about ancient cultures and was humbled by the knowledge that they held. Now almost two years later, I am excited to say that my business has evolved into something I am really proud to be able to part take in, and I am excited for it to continue to evolve and grow as the world continues changing.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not everything has been a smooth road. The thing that led me to what I am doing now was a lot of deep inner healing work, and that was not easy, but absolutely worth it. I do not think I could have found my calling in this work if I didn’t do my personal healing work to ensure I could hear myself clearly. Healing is a lifelong journey, so each day presents new challenges and opportunities to embody my philosophy and spirituality of what I have learned doing this work, and the world doesn’t always make that easy. To hold space for people, I need to make sure I am holding space well for myself which requires a lot of balancing, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Another struggle I faced, which sounds a little silly, is I never intended to start my own business. I didn’t grow up wanting to be an entrepreneur of any sort, but when I figured out I wanted to go down the sound healing and energetic path I didn’t have much of an option. So, when the time came to deal with all the legalities of starting a business and all the backend stuff that goes into running a business- I was not prepared. Balancing my part-time job I had, my business, and the courses I was taking to expand my knowledge of all things sound, psychic, and reiki energy was not easy. I scoured the internet trying to learn how to do everything, but wasn’t prepared for how complicated it all was. It still is a struggle to make sure I am doing all the business things correctly and keeping up on all of the day-to-day things that go into having a small business, but with all of that comes the freedom of doing what I really want to do, which I am really grateful for.
As you know, we’re big fans of Earthen Healing LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business is Earthen Healing LLC, and I provide a range of holistic healing services. My business started with sound healing (of which I am probably the most well known for), but has evolved into including a range of services: sound healing, reiki, psychic and intuitive energy work, and other energetic services. All of my services blend very nicely together, and I have different levels of frequency you can choose for each service, or just book it when you need. I am currently going through a health and wellness coaching program, and after I complete my certification and national board testing I will be adding that to my offerings as well. I do work in a 1:1 and group capacity, in which we can accomplish many different goals whether we are using sound, reiki, or other services. As my business moves forwards, I am hoping to include more workshops and group services to expand beyond just the sound bath events that I currently offer. My goal with my business is to provide “alternative” forms of healing for people to help create a healthier lifestyle. Services like sound and reiki are great complimentary practices towards people already experiencing traditional therapies. When we are thinking about our health, it is important to look at all aspects the mental, physical, and spiritual so I love when people want to incorporate these practices into their traditional therapies or medicines. I think it is important for people to know, that the west is just beginning to catch up with healing modalities that have existed for thousands of years within ancient and indigenous cultures that have been often de-valued by the western culture. Slowly, there are studies coming out not only showing that people who use practices like sound, reiki, meditation have a positive experience, but measurable physical and mental benefits. As these studies continue, and the west begins to open its mind, I am confident that there will be a move towards the integration of spiritual healing practices and traditional western medicine, which is already being shown by people like Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary and Dr. Mitchell Gaynor. When coming to me for a service, regardless of what it is, we are addressing the mind, body, and spirit in hopes of helping aid the individual into self discovery and insights that can be provided within themselves in their healing process. Everything you need to heal is within you! I am just there as a guide to help hold space and move energy to reconnect you to your inner system while you are going inside and doing the work. And if you feel like you’ve hit a wall and need some assistance figuring out what is going on energetically, I offer psychic energetic assessment readings to help take a deeper look at what is going on. Everything we do in a session is geared towards helping you lead a healthier more aligned life. These modalities are incredibly powerful, whether you are coming to see me every week, once a year, or just using them at home in your personal routines. Sound healing in recent years has been given a lot of attention and therefore has many measurable benefits, here are just a few: aids with blood flow, aids with insomnia, aids with anxiety/depression, aids with focus and motivation, aids with creativity, aids with inflammation and chronic pain, aids with emotional processing, aids with feelings of compassion, love, gratitude. These modalities are life changing when they are integrated into your life and used as a consistent practice. I have many resources on my website that provide detailed explanations of the benefits, of how each service goes, and the science behind all out it- go check it out!
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I think something that might surprise people is that I worked in the specialty coffee industry for 7 years and have just recently stopped working in that field. Firstly, I don’t really drink coffee so to hear that most of the past decade was spent around coffee might be surprising. Also, the nature of my work is inherently peaceful, my space feels very calm and full of meditative music and slow movements, so to hear that I spent most of the past 7 years in a high strung caffeine induced environment might seem a bit surprising lol.
