Today we’d like to introduce you to Shayna Harris

Hi Shayna, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Well After attending and graduating from multiple vocational schools including culinary arts, massage therapy and dental assisting I felt defeated in trying to find a career where I wouldn’t have to depend on another to help pay my rent. My only dream in life was to be financially stable on my own and love what I do. After realizing I’d never be able to achieve that in that in my last career I went back to working multiple jobs.
At the time I was going through a bad divorce and now was a single mother so had to make that decision to provide for my family.
After losing faith, fate stepped in. I decided to get my eyebrows Microbladed…. While getting them done My artist suggested that I should take Her course in permanent make up.
After graduating I was Ask to join her at her salon. Now three years later I not only live alone and provide for my 2 children Quintin 8 and Zoey 3 who was diagnosed with autism last year but I own my own LLC and now am a Tattoo artist as well specializing In fineline and Glitter style Tattoos.
Among other things I also get to help mentor the graduates that take my mentors class. Something that really fills my heart cause I’ve had such a hard up bringing so it motivates others that it is possible to rise from the bottom. And I am so thankful for taking another leap of faith, I feel truly blessed

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not in the slightest lol but I’m greatful for that. I’ve worked through allot of tuff challenges the last few years. I could go on for days talking about them.

I am a Tattoo and Permanent makeup artist specializing in Brows, Fineline and Glitter Tattoos.

I’m known for being funny and down to earth with a love for cartoon characters and silly things.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I’m an excellent billiards player
