Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick James Burger

Hi Nick James, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Music has always been my biggest inspiration. I took a liking to it at a young age. I spent my time listening to Classic Rock, R&B and Hip-Hop. Around 2016 I began composing my own music using my given name Nick James. My passion only developed further, not only do I choose to compose my own music but I also write all my own lyrics.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Its always difficult to stay creative, inspiration doesn’t always come knocking on the door. You have to actively seek it out and push past the block. Staying consistent helps keep you motivated, which in turn helps you stay productive. The only way to get better is to keep moving forward. Every song is an accomplishment, every lyric, every beat. It’s all just one step closer to success.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Composing music is my greatest dream and my greatest accomplishment. Instrumentals that focus on R&B and Hip-Hop are the most inspiring. I put my own spin on my music by bringing in other sounds like classic rock. I want to make music that creates a feeling. That takes you to a certain place, a certain emotion where you can escape to.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Not to sound cynical but I’m not a big believer in luck. In order to reach your goals you have to work hard. And in the music industry, you have to work even harder than the next guy to be successful. Everyone wants to make it big, but only some do. In order to be one of them, you have to put in the work.
