Today we’d like to introduce you to Steven & Hannah Musso

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Both of us grew up singing in church, went to school for music and lead worship at our churches from a young age. We got married in 2021 and sensed The Lord leading us to begin pioneering ministry together as husband and wife. We began traveling and doing events locally and nationally, and released our first album titled “The Time Is Now” in March of this year. We serve on the worship team at our home church, which Steven helped plant with our Pastors 9 years ago, and have a little one on the way this November!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
With anything God calls us to for His glory, there will always be opposition from the enemy. Jesus said “in this world you will have trouble, but take heart for I have overcome the world.” The road God has lead us on has been one of faith and provision, but we have faced some challenges along the way as well. Steven was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2010, and has navigated a long journey of health complications – more seriously over the past couple of years – that resulted in some scary hospital visits. As a teenager Hannah was diagnosed with endometriosis, which causes severe pain and potential infertility. But God did a miracle in her body back in 2018, and they are now expecting their first little one in November of this year. Steven is still walking out his healing, and is hopeful as God is leading him on a new journey in the realm of diet and nutrition.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are worship leaders and songwriters. Our desire is to release the sound of heaven on the earth, which is the sound of God’s people from every tribe and nation, worshiping Him wholeheartedly as we were created to do. Hannah graduated from Nyack College with a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance and music, with a concentration in opera. Steven graduated from Saint Rose with a bachelors in music education, and from Liberty University with a masters in music and worship. God then called them both to a different path in vocational ministry, and now together as husband and wife as they travel, write and record. Their style is a combination of contemporary Christian music, cinematic and gospel.
