Twelve years ago, I launched my wedding business, naming it after my daughter’s nickname “Millie.” Before stepping into the wedding industry, I was deeply involved in hosting fundraisers and corporate events, which provided me with a solid foundation in event planning and management.

My passion lies in bringing to life the vision of my brides. In this industry, confidence, compassion, and creativity are essential. I approach each wedding with the same care and dedication as if I were planning my own daughter’s wedding. My commitment to personalizing each event ensures that every bride feels special and that their big day is truly memorable.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Learning what each vendor did and how they could contribute to my bride’s wedding vision. I have learned that you need not reinvent the wheel. Just know where to go to get what is needed in a timely manner.

As a Wedding Planner and Day-of-Wedding Coordinator, I specialize in Catholic ceremonies and day-of coordination. My expertise lies in running a very efficient timeline, ensuring every detail is meticulously managed and that the event proceeds smoothly.

What sets me apart is my tenacity, efficiency, passion, and creativity. I take immense pride in the fact that every wedding I’ve coordinated has always started on time. After achieving success in the corporate world for over a decade, I transitioned to a new career as the owner/operator of Millie’s Event Designs. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m blessed to bring my experience and dedication to each couple I work with.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Yes, I stopped taking deposits from new clients.
