Hi Talena, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started diving deeper into tech after seeing advanced technology, NFTs, and artificial intelligence merge into the arts! As an artist, you are always seeking various ways to market yourself and, in any business, different ways to streamline your operations. So, I decided to share some of these discoveries!

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I wouldn’t say it’s been quite smooth, lol. This is only because AI and many of the latest technologies are still new to many people. They find them scary and may think of them as a foreign language! So, the main struggle is first getting them to understand the benefits of these tools, which is why I created the AI Literacy Lab.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
MaycorpTech is a subsidiary of Maycorp Enterprise, my business firm. It was created to offer AI literacy and provide various tech services, marketing, and tools to help scale businesses using some of the latest technologies. One of the products we offer is 3D Avators in custom ads, commercials, or training videos! I’m most proud of our research and commitment to educating the community about AI, especially the youth, as it encourages them to get into tech for future success. I am adding a junior academy with animated lessons and AI achievements so our youth can learn and earn certificates.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
MaycorpTech is a service provider, resource, and learning center for tech and AI in the Midwest and neighboring metro areas. Our goal is to educate and inspire the growth of being tech-savvy and to help urban communities explore the benefits of being ahead of this curve! We invite our local school districts and community program directors to reach out to us to come in and teach about AI! We also encourage all of our parents, visionaries, and entrepreneurs to learn the value of utilizing some of the latest tech, and we want them to know precisely “HOW” to use it to their success.
